There's something in Daytona for everyone, be it a walk down the boardwalk, sipping cocktails at one of the countless beach bars, you can even drive your car on the beach in certain places. Easily accessible from Orlando, a couple of hours in the car. Well worth a visit whether for the day, a few days or a week.
Holidays to Daytona Beach Florida - One of the more affordably beach towns on the Atlantic Coast so it's popular for that of course. Go deep sea fishing and catch dinner maybe? Parasail, surf - water babies you will be spoilt for choice. Downtown Cocoa is a traditional brick walk village, quaint in it's own way and there's dozens of fantastic and well priced restaurants, bars and clubs. Days on the beach, nights spent partying. Young couples will love this place, but well worth a day trip too if you're a family or large group - prices are much less than you might expect!
Holidays in Miami - One of the most famous and beautiful cities in North America, for the beach, the city and the people. Art Deco and South Beach are the way to go and you will be spoilt for choice. Miami Beach needs no introduction and is an absolute must. There's some of the worlds best clubs in Miami and the winter music festival held every March in Miami is the cutting edge of modern electronic music, performed by the world's best DJ's. Best times to go price wise, are May-November but with an average temperature of 75 degrees, whenever you go, the sun will most likely be out to greet your arrival!
Holidays to Ft Lauderdale - Located some 23 miles north of Miami lies Fort Lauderdale, a super cool town with some even cooler hotels to match. For those booking a cruise it's definitely worth booking an extra night or 2 before or after the cruise to enjoy this cosmopolitan town. The world famous Atlantic Beach Resort & Spa Hotel gets our vote and we have fantastic rates there. Check it out!
Cape Canaveral - Home to NASA - America's space program and the Kennedy Space Centre. You can get up close and personal and have lunch with an Astronaut (yes really), experience what it's like to be an astronaut in the shuttle simulator. In our opinion the Kennedy Space Centre is arguably the best day out in Florida, whether you are interested in Space or not, you will be amazed at what man can and has achieved in space exploration. An absolute must!
Port St Lucie
Port St Lucie - One of the more chilled out cities on the Atlantic Coast. Looking for winter sun? Look no further than the sun-drenched Port St Lucie. The home of PGA Village and all golfers out there, you really will be spoilt for choice there are some of the best courses in Florida in and around Port St Lucie. West Palm Beach
Holidays in West Palm Beach Florida - Land of the country club, Palm Beach was and is today one of the most exclusive destinations in Florida and North America too! Golfers paradise once again!
Beautiful Boca Raton Florida - Boca Raton is a playground for the rich and famous and is one of the most exclusive cities on the Atlantic Coast of Florida. There's not much in the way of 'cheap' here so if you're hoping for a bargain it's not going to be here! There's plenty of top quality restaurants and cocktail lounges. Sex and the city but in Florida is how it's best described. Fantastic designer shopping again not cheap but then again, it may seem so as we all know how extortionate the UK is for those must have designer outfits, bags and shoes!
Pompano Beach Florida - Highly recommended for families. It's a classic Florida beach town. Charter (at a reasonable price) your own boat / sailboat and go sport fishing. Play volleyball on the beach, go diving/snorkelling or just kick back and recharge those batteries...without breaking the bank. Any golfers young or old there's dozens of courses to match all abilities. The famous Goodyear Airship called 'Stars and Stripes' has it's home base in Pompano Beach. Major sporting events with those aerial shots most likely come from the blimp (aka Stars & Stripes). Loads of fantastic hotels at knock down prices, check it out you won't regret it!
